UTI AMC appoints Imtaiyazur Rahman as CEO

UTI AMC appoints Imtaiyazur Rahman as CEO:

To begin with, the UTI Asset Management Company plans to enter into the public through its IPO. On June 13th, the UTI AMC appoints Imtaiyazur Rahman as CEO of the company. 

Moreover, the company takes this decision with the concern of the Securities and Exchange Board of India. The AMC chief executive officer position was vacant from the last 2 years.  The asset management company already submitted its draft prospectus with SEBI in Dec 2019. 

To appoints as CEO,  Imtaiyazur was an internal candidate for this position. Also, this CEO position has vacant from 2018. Imtaiyazur entered the UTI Group in 1998 and attached to the asset management company from 2003. 

He was survival as CEO for this company for around 2 years. He monitored this position between 2012-2013. Also, he worked as CFO and head of the diverse functions of the company along with the international business. 

Furthermore, he worked as chairman of M.Damodaran and the U.K.Sinha. Also, he was involved in the transformation of the organization after the restructuring of the erstwhile Unit Trust of India. 

According to the UTI AMC announcement, the company plans to introduce its initial public offering. Especially, this appointment will give stability to the top management company.
