Sundar Pichai’s compensation for 2019 worth $281 million:
Sundar Pichai’s: Alphabet Inc Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai received or awarded almost $281 million compensation for the 2019 year. However, now he one of the world’s highest-paid executives with almost $281 million last year.
Besides, the company mentioned about his package, some of the amounts will be paid by Alphabet stock returns. The company is listed in the S&P 100 index, the stock returns of the company will be awarded to the CEO Sundar Pichai. Whereas, the annual salary of Sundar Pichai was almost $6,50,000 in 2019 according to the statement. On Friday, the company announced that the salary of Sundar Pichai will increase to almost $2 million this year.
On the other side, the salary of the CEO is 1,085 times higher than the total pay of Alphabet employees, the company said in a filing. Whereas, Sundar Pichai appointed as CEO of Alphabet after Larry Page last year. Now, the 47-year-old executive will lead the Alphabet company from the coronavirus crisis and economic recession. Pichai has already cut hirings and investment plans for the year.
This year, the Alphabet’s board changed ist companies. It added Netflix Inc, Comcast Corp, and Salesforce.com Inc. While removing HP Inc, and Qualcomm Inc. Also on the list: Apple Inc., Amazon.com Inc., and Facebook Inc.

The early trend of both Sensex and Nifty reported a bearish trend in the stock market on Friday after the bullish trend in the last session. The Sensex is trading below 31,500 level, and Nifty is trading below the 9,200 level in the stock market. The Sensex lost 499.09 points with a 1.57% decrease and reached a 31,363.99 level. While Nifty lost 146.75 points with a 1.58% decrease and reached 9,167.15 level.
On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India reached 23,077 as of Friday, April 24, and deaths reached 718.
In the border market, the S&P BSE Smallcap index reported a bearish trend in the stock market on Friday. It lost 163.44 points with a 1.52% decrease and reached a 10,621.60 level. The S&P BSE Midcap index lost 207.27 points with a 1.78% decrease and reached an 11,466.07 level. While Nifty Bank lost 718.70 with a 3.55% decrease and reached 19,608.05 level.
