Stocks in news August 25th: On Tuesday, both Sensex and Nifty reported a bullish trend in the stock market from the last two sessions. The Sensex is trading above 38,900 levels and Nifty is trading above 11,500 levels in the stock market. The Sensex gained 157.74 points with a 0.36% increase and reached a 38,928.68 level. While Nifty gained 34.50 points with a 0.30% increase and reached 11,500.95 level.

On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India reached 31,67,323 as of Tuesday, August 25th, and deaths reached 58,390.

Axis Bank Limited: On Tuesday, the bank decided to acquire almost 17% stakes in Max Life. So that the total stakes hold by the bank reached 18%.   

However, the shares of Axis Bank Limited on Tuesday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. The bank gained 6.60 points with a 1.48% increase and reached 452.40 INR. While in BSE, the bank gained 6.45 points with a 1.45% increase and reached 452.15 INR.

IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited: On Monday, the company reported its Q1 results for the financial year 2020-21. However, the company’s net loss stood at Rs. 30.14 crores as against Rs. 206.62 crores in the same quarter last year. While the company’s income reported at Rs. 1,022.30 crores as against Rs. 1,773.04 crores in the same quarter last year.

However, the shares of IRB Infrastructure Developers Limited on Tuesday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. The company gained 2.90 points with a 2.33% increase and reached 127.60 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 2.85 points with a 2.29% increase and reached 127.50 INR.

LIC Housing Finance Limited: On Monday, the bank reported its Q1 results for the financial year 2020-21. However, the bank’s net profit increased by 34% to Rs. 817.48 crores in Q1FY21. While the company’s income stood at Rs. 4,977.49 crores as against Rs. 4,807.21 crores in the same quarter last financial year.

However, the shares of LIC Housing Finance Limited on Tuesday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. The company gained 29.75 points with a 10.76% increase and reached 306.35 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 29.45 points with a 10.64% increase and reached 306.15 INR.

ONGC Limited: On Monday, the company board members decided and approved to raise funds of Rs. 45,000 crores via NCDs, Loans.  

However, the shares of ONGC Limited on Tuesday reported a bearish trend in the stock market. The company lost 0.35 points with a 0.37% decrease and reached 80.95 INR. While in BSE, the company lost 0.20 points with a 0.25% decrease and reached 81.00 INR.

Sadbhav Infrastructure Projects Limited: On Monday, the company shares sold by Norwest Venture Partners for Rs. 15.01 per each share with almost 1,19,00,000 via the open market.

However, the shares of Sadbhav Infrastructure Projects Limited on Tuesday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. The company gained 1.75 points with a 9.51% increase and reached 20.15 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 1.80 points with a 9.73% increase and reached 20.30 INR.

Globus Spirits Limited: On Monday, the company reported its Q1 results for the financial year 2020-21. However, the company’s net profit stood at Rs. 18.70 crores as against Rs. 7.00 crores in the same quarter last year. While the company’s income reported at Rs. 291.98 crores as against Rs. 314.65 crores in the same quarter last year.

However, the shares of Globus Spirits Limited on Tuesday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. The company gained 8.05 points with a 4.99% increase and reached 169.50 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 8.05 points with a 4.99% increase and reached 169.25 INR.

Shri Keshav Cements & Infra Limited: On Monday, the company reported its Q1 results for the financial year 2020-21. However, the company’s net loss stood at Rs. 26.76 lakhs as against a profit Rs. 3.29 crores in the same quarter last year. While the company’s net sales reported at Rs. 14.29 crores as against Rs. 20.04 crores in the same quarter last year.

However, the shares of Shri Keshav Cements & Infra Limited on Tuesday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. The company is not listed in the NSE stock market. While in BSE, the company gained 1.35 points with a 4.87% increase and reached 29.05 INR.

NOCIL Limited: On Monday, the company reported its Q1 results for the financial year 2020-21. However, the bank’s profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs. 11.95 crores as against Rs. 32.88 crores in the same quarter last year. While the company’s income reported at Rs. 106.51 crores as against Rs. 229.59 crores in the same quarter last year.

However, the shares of NOCIL Limited on Tuesday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. The company gained 3.20 points with a 2.64% increase and reached 124.20 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 3.05 points with a 2.52% increase and reached 124.00 INR.
