SEBI has extended the deadline to apply for 147 senior-level posts between COVID-19 till October 31

Market regulator SEBI has extended the deadline for 147 senior-level posts to three months till October 31. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation. On March 7, the regulator invited applications for these positions as part of a plan to increase the headcount to execute its jobs faster and more efficiently.

The last date to apply for these posts is March 23. It later extended to April 30, then to May 31, and again to July 31.

Now, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has extended the deadline to October 31. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, according to a recent notice.

Revised dates for Phase I and Phase II examinations for appointment of officers in Grade A  will be announced in due course.

The Phase I and Phase II tests are scheduled for July 4 and August 3, respectively.

A total of 147 vacancies for Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) were reported to be filled by Market Watchdog legal. IT professionals, researchers, and other executives for general administration.

Applications are invited for 80 posts of Assistant Manager for General Stream, 34 posts for Research Stream, and 22 vacancies for Information Technology.

In addition, it invites applications for engineering and official language streams. To apply for General Stream, those in authority must have a master’s degree in any field or a bachelor’s degree in law or engineering. SEBI has relaxed several compliance requirements for listed companies in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic. Resulting in the imposition of certain restrictions.
