NBCC India Q4 results: Net sales decreased by 17.13% to Rs. 2,600.35 crores for FY20
NBCC India Q4 results: Initially, the company was also known as National Buildings Construction Corporation Limited (NBCC) located in New Delhi. The company works under the Government of India’s Navratna Enterprises and a Central Public Sector. However, the company provides services in project management consultancy, Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC), and real estate development.
Meanwhile, on Friday, July 10th, the company shares plunged almost 4% in the stock market. The main reason for this is due to the company reported its Q4 results for the financial year 2019-20. The company’s consolidated net profit decreased by 42.26% to Rs. 78.98 crores in Q4FY20. While the company also posted its net profit of Rs. 136.79 crores in the same quarter last financial year 2018-19.
While the company’s total sales decreased by 17.13% to Rs. 2,600.35 crores in this quarter ended on March 31st. While the company also posted its total sales of Rs. 3,137.69 crores in the same quarter last fiscal year.
Besides, the companies EBITDA for this quarter decreased by 51.75% to Rs. 103.11 crores against Rs. 213.69 crores in the same quarter last year. While the company’s EPS decreased to Rs. 0.44 as against Rs. 0.76 in the same period last fiscal year.
However, NBCC India Limited reported a bearish trend in the stock market on Friday, July 10th. The company lost 0.90 points with a 3.35% decrease and reached 26.00 INR. While in BSE, the company lost 1.00 points with a 3.72% decrease and reached 25.90 INR.

On Friday, both Sensex and Nifty reported a bearish trend in the stock market after bullish reports in the last session. The Sensex is trading below 36,600 levels and Nifty is trading below 10,800 levels in the stock market. The Sensex lost 143.36 points with a 0.39% decrease and reached a 36,594.33 level. While Nifty lost 45.40 points with a 0.42% decrease and reached 10,768.05 level.
On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India reached 8,49,553 as of Sunday, July 12th, and deaths reached 22,674.
In the border market, the S&P BSE Smallcap index reported a bearish trend in the stock market on Friday. It lost 44.46 points with a 0.35% decrease and reached a 12,803.78 level. The S&P BSE Midcap index lost 96.64 points with a 0.72% decrease and reached a 13,396.83 level. While Nifty Bank lost 508.75 with a 2.22% decrease and reached a 22,398.45 level.
