On 30th June 2020, Marico Ltd. announced its consolidated sales worth Rs. 1,925.00 Cr. Comparatively, the company sales declined by 28.68% from its last quarter sales of Rs. 1,496.00 Cr. Also, its sales declined by 11.13% of Rs. 2,166.00 Cr in the previous year.

Furthermore, the net profit of Rs. 381.00 Cr declined by 23.70% from the same quarter a year ago. By the ending in June 2020, the company promoters held 59.48% of its stake, FIIs held a 23.72% stake and DIIs held a 3.35% stake.

Presently, the bank shares quoted with a price-to-earnings ratio in multiples of 44.10. Similarly, the company’s price-to-book value ratio of 16.02.

Stock Market August 19th: On Wednesday, both Sensex and Nifty seem to trade in a bullish trend in the stock market. The Sensex stood traded gain with 38,614.79 levels and Nifty stood traded gain with 11,419.70 levels. The Sensex raised 86.47 points with a 0.22% gain. Besides, Nifty has raised 34.35 points with a 0.30% gain.

On the other hand, the number of confirmed or coronavirus cases in India reached 27,66,626 as of August 19th, and deaths reached 53,014.

In the border market, the S&P BSE Midcap index reported a bullish trend in the stock market today. It raised 84.74 points with a 0.58% gain and reached a 14,741.42 level. The S&P BSE Smallcap index raised 164.14 points with a 1.16% gain and reached a 14,318.15 level. However, the Nifty Bank declined 115.30 points with a 0.52% loss and reached a 22,285.90 level.
