New Delhi: To begin with, the shares of LIC Housing Finance Ltd. dropped in the trade session today. The share price of the company declined by 2.92% in intraday trade. Nearly, 1,77,799 shares have exchanged hands on the counter.

Initially, the stock started at Rs. 270.00 and attained an intraday trade high of Rs. 271.10. As well as it reached an intraday trade low of Rs. 259.75 per equity share as of yet. However, the shares of the company quoted a 52-week highest value of Rs. 586.80. It also quoted a 52-week lowest value of Rs. 186.00 in the trade so far.

According to the records, the total market capitalization of the company reached Rs. 13,254.97 crores till now.

On the other side, the company posted its consolidated net sales of Rs. 4,935.20 crores as of March 2020. Down with 1.40% from the previous quarter which stood at Rs. 5,005.36 crores.

Despite this, the net profit for the present quarter stood at Rs. 424.59 crores, down by 39.09% from the same quarter a year ago.

Besides, as of March 2020, the promoters of the company held 40.31% from its stake. Likewise, the FIIs held a 32.32% stake and DIIs held an 8.21% stake. Moreover, as per the sources, the company shares traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 5.51. So then, the price-to-book ratio stood at 0.73.

Stock Market June 29th: On Monday, both Sensex and Nifty seem to trade with a bearish trend at the stock market. The Sensex stood trading down with 34,865.15 levels. Thereby, Nifty stood trading down with 10,280.65 levels. The Sensex lost 330.35 points with 0.95% fall. So then, Nifty has lost 101.55 points with 0.98% fall.

On the other hand, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in India reached 5,48,318 as of June 29th, and deaths reached 16,475.

In the border market, the S&P BSE Midcap index reported a bearish trend as well. It lost 188.77 points with a 1.43% drop and reached a 13,068.02 level. The S&P BSE Smallcap index lost 162.93 points with 1.24% fall and reached a 12,474.86 level. So then, Nifty Bank also lost 363.25 points with a 1.71% drop and reached 21,239.55 level.
