Infosys Q4 results: consolidated net profit of Rs 4,321 crores
Infosys Q4 results: It is one of the multi-national company in India located in Banglore. The company provides services in business consulting, information technology, and outsourcing services. Whereas, Infosys is the second-largest Indian IT company after TCS. However, the company’s capital stands at $46.52 billion.
Meanwhile, the Infosys Ltd on Monday, April 20th reported its Q4 results for the FY20. The company posted a 6.10% increase in its consolidated net profits of Rs 4,321 crores in this quarter ended in March. Whereas, the company also posted its consolidated net profit of Rs 4,074 crores in the same quarter last year.
Besides, the company also posted its total revenue from operations stood at Rs 23,267 crores with an almost 8% increase. Whereas, the operating profit margin stood at 21.20% in this quarter compared to 21.40% in the same quarter last year.
“The company performed really well in 2020 with almost 9.8% growth. The companies operating margin stood at 21.3%. We are looking to even stronger in the coming quarter of the company, said Salil Parekh, CEO, and MD of Infosys.
On the other side, the company also decided its “interim dividend” of Rs 9.50 per equity share. The company on March 31st had cash of Rs 27,300 crores, while the company bagged almost $1.65 billion of large deals in January-March.
However, Infosys Ltd on Tuesday reported a bearish trend in the stock market. The company lost 20.30 points with a 3.11% decrease and reached 633.00 INR. While in BSE, the company lost 19.85 points with a 3.04% decrease and reached 633.05 INR.
Stock Market April 21st:
The early trend of both Sensex and Nifty reported a bearish trend in the stock market on Tuesday. The Sensex is trading below 31,000 level and Nifty is trading below the 9,000 level in the stock market. The Sensex lost 1,011.29 points with a 3.20% decrease and reached a 30,6363.71 level. While Nifty lost 280.40 points with a 3.03% decrease and reached 8,981.45 level.
On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India reached 18,601 as of Tuesday, April 21st and deaths reached 590.
In the border market, the S&P BSE Smallcap index reported a bearish trend in the stock market on Tuesday. It lost 332.06 points with a 2.96% decrease and reached a 10,564.85 level. The S&P BSE Midcap index lost 321.77 points with a 2.73% decrease and reached an 11,477.06 level. While Nifty Bank lost 1,113.30 with a 5.42% decrease and reached 19,409.35 level.
