Hero MotoCorp Q1 results: Net profit down by 95% at ₹61 cr
To begin with, Hero MotoCorp posted its Q1 results on Thursday. So then, the standalone net profit of the company dropped by 95.12% at Rs. 61.31 crores. Earlier, in the year-ago period, it stood at Rs. 1,257.34 crores in the same quarter.
On the other hand, the revenue from operations decreased by 63% at Rs. 2,971.54 crores. Comparatively, in the year-ago period, it stood at Rs. 8,030.27 crores.
Besides, it sold 5.65 lakh two-wheelers during the quarter as against 18.43 lakh sales during the previous year. The share price of the company stood at 34.60%, with a profit of 333 basis points on a year-on-year basis.

In the border market, the S&P BSE Midcap index gained 37.19 points with a 0.26% profit and reached 14,620.20 levels. Also, the S&P BSE Smallcap index gained 86.41 points with a 0.61% profit and reached a 14,025.20 level.
