EIH Q1 results: Net loss at Rs. 152 crores
New Delhi: To begin with, the hospitality major, EIH Limited, posted its Q1 results on Thursday. So then, the firm reported a consolidated net loss of Rs. 152.06 crores for the June 2020 quarter. Earlier, in the year-ago period, the firm posted a net loss of Rs. 1.13 crores in the same quarter.
On the other hand, the consolidated total income stood at Rs. 44.62 crores during the quarter under review. Comparatively, in the previous year, it stood at Rs. 358.22 crores.
Consequently, because of the COVID-19 outbreak, other operations across India and overseas stood at a loss for the June 2020 quarter.

On August 14th, both the Sensex and the Nifty traded at a bullish trend in the stock market. The Sensex gained 96.70 points and reached 38,421.95 levels with a 0.29% profit. On the other side, the Nifty gained 25.45 points and reached 11,326.00 levels with a 0.24% profit.
In the border market, the S&P BSE Midcap index gained 37.19 points with a 0.26% profit and reached 14,620.20 levels. Also, the S&P BSE Smallcap index gained 86.41 points with a 0.61% profit and reached a 14,025.20 level.
Besides, as of August 15th, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases across India has reached 25,26,192. Also, the number of deaths in the country has reached 49,036.
