Bank Shares May 12th: The early trade of both Sensex and Nifty continues its bearish trend in the stock market on Tuesday, May 12th. The Sensex is trading below 31,100 level, and Nifty is trading below 9,200 level in the stock market. The Sensex lost 501.56 points with a 1.63% decrease and reached a 31,047.66 level. While Nifty lost 144.10 points with a 1.56% decrease and reached 9,095.10 level.

On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India reached 70,756 as of Tuesday, May 12th, and deaths reached 2,293.

Besides, the Nifty Bank reported a bearish trend in the stock market on Tuesday. It lost 519.35 with a 2.91% decrease and reached an 18,398.15 level. The list of companies that reported a bearish trend in the stock market are as follows:

State Bank of India: The early trade of the bank on Tuesday reported a bearish trend in the stock market. The bank lost 4.10 points with a 2.48% decrease and reached 161.35 INR. While in BSE, the bank lost 4.00 points with a 2.42% decrease and reached 161.45 INR.

Federal Bank Limited: The early trade of the bank on Tuesday reported a bearish trend in the stock market. The bank lost 2.15 points with a 4.99% decrease and reached 40.95 INR. While in BSE, the bank lost 2.20 points with a 5.09% decrease and reached 41.00 INR.

In the border market, the S&P BSE Smallcap index reported a bearish trend in the stock market on Tuesday. It lost 123.49 points with a 1.16% decrease and reached a 10,504.93 level. The S&P BSE Midcap index lost 183.77 points with a 1.60% decrease and reached an 11,313.15 level.
