Bank of Baroda Shares Plunged Almost 1% On 4th August 2020:

To begin with, Bank of Baroda shares traded with a 0.96% gain in today’s Intraday trade. Also, until now, the company exchanged 6,71,815 shares hands on the counter.

Moreover, the bank shares started at Rs. 47.00 per equity share on the National Stock Exchange. The stocks reached the Intraday high value of Rs. 47.20 per eq share. Similarly, the Intraday low value of Rs. 45.90 per share.

According to the source, the bank reached its 52-week highest value of Rs. 36.05. Also, it reached the 52-week lowest value of Rs. 108.50. As per the records, the total market capitalization stood at Rs. 21,416.33 Cr.

Furthermore, in the BSE500 pack 351 stocks traded in the positive region, and the remaining 149 Stocks traded in the negative region. By the ending in March 2020, the bank promoters held 71.60% of its stake, FIIs held a 4.09% stake and DIIs held an 8.79% stake.

Presently, the bank shares quoted with a price-to-earnings ratio in multiples of 23.08. Similarly, the company’s price-to-book value ratio of 0.28 and ROE was at 1.21%.

Stock Market August 4th: On Tuesday, both Sensex and Nifty seem to trade in a bullish trend in the stock market. The Sensex stood traded gain with 37,687.91 levels and Nifty stood traded gain with 11,095.25 levels. The Sensex raised 748.31 points with a 2.03% gain. Besides, Nifty has raised 203.65 points with a 1.87% gain.

On the other hand, the number of confirmed or coronavirus cases in India reached 18,55,331 as of August 4th, and deaths reached 38,971.

In the border market, the S&P BSE Midcap index reported a bullish trend in the stock market today. It raised 139.65 points with a 1.02% gain and reached a 13,856.44 level. The S&P BSE Smallcap index raised 162.35 points with a 1.23% gain and reached a 13,316.96 level. However, the Nifty Bank raised 418.40 points with a 1.99% gain and reached a 21,490.50 level.
