Bajaj Electricals Q1 results: Net loss stood at Rs. 16.60 crores for FY21

Bajaj Electricals: On Tuesday, August 11th, the company reported its Q1 results for the Financial Year 2020-21. The company’s consolidated net loss of Rs. 16.60 crores in this quarter ended on June 30th. The company also posted its consolidated net profit of Rs. 13.70 crores in the same period last fiscal year. 

Besides, the company’s total revenue from the operations decreased by 53.30% Year-on-Year (YoY) to Rs. 615.34 crores in Q1FY21. The company also reported its total revenue of Rs. 1,317.99 crores in the same period last year. 

The company said, due to the COVID-19 pandemic across India, the company’s operations have been impacted in the months of March, April, and May 2020, because of temporary shut-down of manufacturing facilities, sales, and distribution and execution of engineering, procurement and construction contracts following the lockdown.

However, the shares of Bajaj Electricals Limited reported a bullish trend in the stock market on Tuesday. The company gained 9.60 points with a 2.25% increase and reached 436.00 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 10.85 points with a 2.54% increase and reached 437.35 INR.

Stock Market August 11th:

On Tuesday, both Sensex and Nifty reported a bullish trend in the stock market from the last two sessions. The Sensex is trading above 38,400 levels and Nifty is trading above 11,300 levels in the stock market. The Sensex gained 224.93 points with a 0.59% increase and reached a 38,407.01 level. While Nifty gained 52.35 points with a 0.46% increase and reached 11,322.50 level.

On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India reached 22,68,675 as of Tuesday, August 11th, and deaths reached 45,257.

In the border market, the S&P BSE SmallCap reported a bearish trend in the stock market on Tuesday. It lost 31.82 points with a 0.23% decrease and reached a 13,837.26 level. The S&P BSE Midcap lost 28.33 points with a 0.20% decrease and reached a 14,392.37 level. While Nifty Bank gained 326.95 points with a 1.49% increase and reached 22,227.20 level.
