Stocks to watch on January 20th: On Wednesday, both Sensex and Nifty continue their bullish trend in the stock market from the last session of the stock market. The Sensex is trading above 49,500 levels and nifty trading above 14,500 levels in the stock market. The Sensex gained 172.72 points with a 0.36% increase and reached 49,575.58 levels. While the nifty gained 60.75 points with a 0.42% increase and reached 14,581.50 levels.

On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India reached 1,05,95,660 with almost 1,52,718 deaths.

Tata Communications Limited: On Tuesday, the company reported its Q3 results for the financial year 2020-21. The companies consolidated net profit decreased to Rs. 309.40 crores as against Rs. 384.80 crores in Q2FY21. The company also posted its total revenue of Rs. 4,222.80 crores as against Rs. 4,401.10 crores (QoQ). On the other side, the Government decided to sell its entire stakes (26.10%) via OFS. Besides, the ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala increased stakes in the company by 1% in the December quarter.

However, the shares of Tata Communications Limited on Wednesday reported a bearish trend in the stock market. It lost 75.05 points with a 6.65% decrease and reached 1,054.00 INR. While in BSE, the company lost 76.65 points with a 6.77% decrease and reached 1,054.75 INR.

India Cements Limited: Radhakishan Damani increased its stakes in the company by 0.70% from the September-December quarter. Besides, VST Industries also increased their stakes in the company by 0.11% in Q3FY21.

However, the shares of India Cements Limited on Wednesday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 0.80 points with a 0.47% increase and reached 169.05 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 0.50 points with a 0.30% increase and reached 168.55 INR.

Sobha Limited: On Tuesday, the wholly-owned subsidiary Sobha Highrise Ventures Private Limited acquired 100% stakes in Annalakshmi Land Developers Private Limited. 

However, the shares of Sobha Limited on Wednesday reported a bearish trend in the stock market. It lost 2.85 points with a 0.59% decrease and reached 480.75 INR. While in BSE, the company lost 1.10 points with a 0.23% decrease and reached 481.35 INR.

Sun Pharma Limited: On Tuesday, the pharma company received a USFDA nod for Epoprostenol Sodium injection, which is used to treat pulmonary hypertension.

However, the shares of Sun Pharma Limited on Wednesday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 2.30 points with a 0.39% increase and reached 598.85 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 2.55 points with a 0.43% increase and reached 598.80 INR.

McNally Bharat Engineering Limited: On Tuesday, the company received multiple orders worth Rs. 173.46 crores, Rs. 216.53 crores and Rs. 211.22 crores from South Eastern Coalfields.

However, the shares of McNally Bharat Engineering Limited on Wednesday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 0.25 points with a 4.39% increase and reached 5.95 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 0.27 points with a 4.90% increase and reached 5.78 INR.

TV18 Broadcast Limited: On Tuesday, the company reported its Q3 results for the financial year 2020-21. The companies consolidated net profit increased to Rs. 377.20 crores as against Rs. 115.55 crores in the same quarter last year. The company also posted its total revenue of Rs. 1,360.95 crores as against Rs. 1,012.80 crores (QoQ).

However, the shares of TV18 Broadcast Limited on Wednesday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 0.15 points with a 0.47% increase and reached 31.80 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 0.15 points with a 0.47% increase and reached 31.80 INR.

Skipper Limited: On Tuesday, the company reported its Q3 results for the financial year 2020-21. The companies consolidated net profit increased to Rs. 11.45 crores as against Rs. 4.63 crores in the same quarter last year. The company also posted its revenue of Rs. 459.80 crores as against Rs. 299.80 crores (QoQ).

However, the shares of Skipper Limited on Wednesday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 1.55 points with a 2.24% increase and reached 70.70 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 1.55 points with a 2.24% increase and reached 70.75 INR.

Indian Hotels Limited: The ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala increased its stakes in the company by 1% during the December quarter.

However, the shares of Indian Hotels Limited on Wednesday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 1.75 points with a 1.33% increase and reached 125.70 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 1.45 points with a 1.17% increase and reached 125.65 INR.

ICICI Lombard General Insurance Limited: On Tuesday, the company reported its Q3 results for the financial year 2020-21. The companies consolidated net profit increased to Rs. 313.53 crores as against Rs. 294.11 crores in the same quarter last year. The company also posted its revenue of Rs. 3,058.91 crores as against Rs. 2,798.90 crores in the same period last fiscal year.

However, the shares of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Limited on Wednesday reported a bearish trend in the stock market. It lost 46.10 points with a 3.05% decrease and reached 1,464.00 INR. While in BSE, the company lost 45.50 points with a 3.01% decrease and reached 1,464.85 INR.
