Stocks to watch on February 22nd: On Monday, both Sensex and Nifty continue their bearish trend in the stock market from the last four sessions of the market. The Sensex is trading below 51,000 levels and nifty trading below 15,000 levels in the stock market. The Sensex lost 37.00 points with a 0.073% decrease and reached 50,921.95 levels. While the nifty lost 8.80 points with a 0.059% decrease and reached 14,990.55 levels.

On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India on Monday, February 22nd reached 1,10,05,850 with almost 1,56,385 deaths.

Jubilant FoodWorks Limited: On Saturday, the subsidiary company Jubilant FoodWorks Netherland made a purchase agreement for the acquisition of Fides Food Systems U.A. 

However, the shares of Jubilant FoodWorks Limited on Monday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 37.65 points with a 1.51% increase and reached 2,995.80 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 37.95 points with a 1.29% increase and reached 2,984.30 INR.

Torrent Power Limited: The company was declared the highest bidder for the acquisition of almost 51% stakes in Power Distribution Company in the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli.

However, the shares of Torrent Power Limited on Monday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 5.60 points with a 1.53% increase and reached 371.00 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 8.20 points with a 2.25% increase and reached 373.00 INR.

Jet Airways Limited: The bankrupted company will start its operations in July or August this year said the new owner of the company Murari Lal Jalan.

However, the shares of Jet Airways Limited on Monday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 5.45 points with a 4.98% increase and reached 114.95 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 5.45 points with a 4.98% increase and reached 114.95 INR.

Karnataka Bank Limited: On Saturday, the bank reported to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) against fraud of Rs. 34.16 crores given to IL&FS Transportation Networks.

However, the shares of Karnataka Bank Limited on Monday reported a bearish trend in the stock market. It lost 1.45 points with a 2.09% decrease and reached 68.05 INR. While in BSE, the company lost 1.50 points with a 2.10% decrease and reached 68.05 INR.

Foseco India Limited: On Monday, the board members approved Mohit Mangal as a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company.

However, the shares of Foseco India Limited on Monday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 13.40 points with a 1.08% increase and reached 1,256.65 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 13.40 points with a 1.10% increase and reached 1,255.65 INR.

Lincoln Pharmaceuticals Limited: The company received ICRA A rating from ICRA research firm for long-term and ICRA A1 for the short-term.

However, the shares of Lincoln Pharmaceuticals Limited on Monday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 2.30 points with a 1.03% increase and reached 224.70 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 2.20 points with a 0.99% increase and reached 224.90 INR.

Thomas Cook Limited: The company completed its buy-back of 38% stakes from its promoters in Thomas Cook (Mauritius), which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. 

However, the shares of Thomas Cook Limited on Monday reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 1.15 points with a 2.42% increase and reached 48.70 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 0.85 points with a 1.79% increase and reached 48.30 INR.
