Stock Market March 17th: On Wednesday, both Sensex and Nifty continue their bearish trend in the stock market from the last three sessions of the market. The Sensex is trading below 49,810 levels and nifty trading below 14,750 levels in the stock market. The Sensex lost 562.34 points with a 1.12% decrease and reached 49,801.62 levels. While the nifty lost 189.15 points with a 1.27% decrease and reached 14,721.30 levels.

On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India on Wednesday, March 17th reached 1,14,38,734 with almost 1,59,044 deaths.

In the border markets, the S&P BSE SmallCap index reported a bearish trend in the stock market on Wednesday. It lost 448.92 points with a 2.12% decrease and reached 20,713.58 levels. Whereas the S&P BSE MidCap lost 466.67 points with a 2.28% decrease and reached a 20,043.70 level. But, the Nifty Bank lost 575.35 points with a 1.65% decrease and reached 34,229.25 level.

ITC Limited: On Wednesday, the shares of the steel manufacturing company reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 2.75 points with a 1.32% increase and reached 210.60 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 2.50 points with a 1.20% increase and reached 210.55 INR.

Infosys Limited: On Wednesday, the shares of the refinery company reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 3.00 points with a 0.22% increase and reached 1,387.00 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 2.95 points with a 0.21% increase and reached 1,387.20 INR.

Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited: On Wednesday, the shares of the company reported a bullish trend in the stock market. It gained 5.15 points with a 0.21% increase and reached 2,515.55 INR. While in BSE, the company gained 3.10 points with a 0.12% increase and reached 2,513.85 INR.
