The Sensex is trading above 49,300 levels and nifty trading above 14,500 levels in the stock market. The Sensex gained 834.02 points with a 1.72% increase and reached 49,398.29 levels. While the nifty gained 239.85 points with a 1.68% increase and reached 14,521.15 levels.

On the other side, the number of coronavirus cases in India reached 1,05,81,837 with almost 1,52,556 deaths.
