Escorts Q3 Results, Net Profit Climbs 9.2 Percent
Escorts Q3 Results, the company declared the December quarter results and posted a standalone net profit of Rs 153 crore. The net profit rose around 9.2 per cent. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 140.1 crore in the same quarter last year.
The Indian engineering company’s revenue witnessed a fall of 1.3 per cent year-on-year. The revenue of the company stood at Rs 1,633.4 crore in the third quarter from October to December. Last year, the company’s revenue was at Rs 1,655.1 crore YoY.
Getting into the more details of Escorts Q3 Earnings, the company’s EBITDA climbed 5.9 per cent, stood at Rs 212.2 crore. The company had posted EBITDA at Rs 200.5 crore a year-ago period. Whereas the EBITDA margin increased 13 per cent year-on-year as against 12.1 per cent.
In Q3FY20, Escorts sold nearly 25,109 tractors. Last year, the company managed to sole 25,743 tractors. In third quarter FY20, the company’s construction sales volume was at 1,044 units. While the railway products division revenue surged 28.8 per cent and was at Rs 124.4 crore.
