Brokerages On HUL Q3 Earnings, Double-Digit Growth in Profit
Brokerages on HUL Q3 Earnings, Hindustan Unilever is going to declare its December quarter earnings today. Mostly, the brokerages expect that the company probably delivers a double-digit growth in profit. They also anticipate that revenue might climb around 5-6 per cent YoY and volume rise 3 per cent in the third quarter ended on December 31, 2019. Margin expansion could be between 100-200 bps YoY. According to Kotak Institutional Equities, there would be revenue growth of 6 per cent in domestic FMCG business during the December quarter 2019. On the back of 4 per cent underlying volume growth and 2 per cent price-led growth.
Brokerage firm HDFC Securities stated that underlying volume growth likely to be at 4 per cent. It also assumes that EBITDA margins may up by 137 bps YoY in the October to December quarter FY20. Whereas PhillipCapital predicts a 3 per cent volume growth. According to Edelweiss EBITDA margin expansion could be at 210 bps YoY in Q3FY20 due to the cost-saving program coupled with high other expenditure.
