2200 Professionals, The IT department released the information by examining the filing of income tax returns for the financial year 2018-19. These include doctors, chartered accountants, lawyers, and other professionals. In the current fiscal year, the company has released an income tax return of Rs 5.78 crore. This is what the Income Tax Department tweeted.

Of this, less than Rs 2.5 lakh is made up of 1.03 crore people. There are about 3.29 crore people earning between Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 5 lakh. At the same time, 5.78 crore taxpayers with a total income of up to Rs 5 lakh, the total amount is 4.32 crore.

Excluding other income such as rent, interest, and capital gains, The CBDT found that 3.16 lakh individual taxpayers reported income of over Rs 50 lakh this fiscal and 8,600 individuals. The number of people earning between Rs 5 and 10 lakh is one crore. 46 lakhs while those earning above Rs 10 lakh. The income of over Rs 50 lakh revealed as 3.16 lakh.
