KEC International captures orders worth Rs 1,047 crores
To begin with, the share price of KEC International has managed trading in the red marginally on March 18th. Besides, the electric power transmission towers manufacturer has captured orders worth Rs 1,047 crores across businesses.
However, the scrip has seen a pour in volume by more than 1.28 times. And it stood trading with volumes of 26,638 shares. Comparatively, its 5-day average stood at 23,742 shares which have witnessed an increase of 12.20%.
Moreover, the company obtained orders of Rs 669 crores for T & D projects in India, SAARC, Middle East, and the Americas. While the civil business secured Rs 153 crores worth of order for the defense and residential projects in India. Besides, it also received Rs 104 crores solar projects in India and the Middle East. Also, the cables business bagged orders of Rs 121 crores.
Despite this, the stock has dropped over 23% in the last one month. And remained to quote at Rs 258.35, down Rs 1.95, or 0.75%.
On the third consecutive day, the stock market trading with the bearish trend. The Sensex trading with a loss of 932.38 points reached a 29,630.32 level with 3.17% down. Whereas Nifty trading with a loss of 275.75 points reached 8,691.30 level with 3.08% down.
In the border market, S&P BSE Midcap trading with a loss of 467.94 points reached an 11,204.89 level with 3.98% down. Whereas, S&P BSE SmallCap trading with a loss of 511.42 points reached 10,332.94 level with 4.72% down.
